@maoyang, you're wise to try and reduce your beer intake. I know it's hard. Even small steps count.

As you know, hepatomegaly means you have an enlarged liver. Rather than a disease, an enlarged liver is a sign of an underlying problem, such as liver disease, congestive heart failure or cancer.

Are you undergoing further testing to rule out underlying problems?

Hi @colleenyoung , thank you for responding.
No, I was not asked to do any other screenings, just to stop alcohol intake. I presented, I would say, detailed and comprehensive laboratory results, which the doctor reviewed and could have advised me to undergo further lab tests if anything was wrong. I also had a treadmill treadmill stress test, which turned out to be normal.
Do you think reducing my alcohol intake will lead to total liver recovery?
