Honestly, I don't know what they're thinking. The surgeon just told me there was nothing he could do and the physiatrist said that anti-inflammatory injections wouldn't help because there was no evidence of inflammation.

@sfmcfar You will also have surgical scar tissue that gets tight. Since your pain is elevated in certain positions, that may be pulling against the tight scar tissue. If you look at the link that John provided about the Myofascial release discussion, that may be something to try. I do a lot of MFR and it helps me. I have also loosened my surgical scar tissue and got better movement and function.
