Neuropathy: What works and what are scams?

I'm very interested in use of PRP injections to treat peripheral neuropathy. Was your health care provider suggesting this for treating neuropathy or was it for other foot pains such as plantar fasciitis? You mentioned improved circulation, improved feeling, and color, so would you say improvement to your neuropathy symptoms? Have you had to continue PRP injections? When were your injections as in year/month, how long did you feel improvement, and how often have you had to or will you have to go back and get additional injections? If you don't mind me asking approximately how much were the treatments each time?

Welcome @biginohio, I'm not sure PRP injections are widely used to treat neuropathy symptoms but I'm also interested to hear more from @kbirchem to learn more about their experience. I did find some research that shows some promise but seems like there needs to be more studies and testing done.
