Any feedback on Lyrica for PN would be appreciated
Had double lumbar fusion 3 years back. Resulting in PN in both my feet. Any suggestions regarding Lyrica or gabapentine

I took up to the max dose of Gabapentin (3,600 mg.) It didn't help my neuropathy or seizures. Lyrica didn't help me either.
Gabapentin gives my brother a lot of relief from neuropathy. I've always wondered if it has anything to do with what caused the neuropathy a person has. My neuropathy is believed to have been caused by long term seizure medications whereas my brothers was caused by severe damage when his legs were crushed and his femoral arteries severed. I have a friend who has fibromyalgia, and she swears by Lyrica. Different things work for different people.
I would suggest if you're given 900, 1200, 1800 mg that doesn't help you may want to ask about increasing the dosage provided you don't have or can tolorate any side effects.
Best of luck to you,
Jake
I have taken pregabalin (Lyrica) for almost a year. When I went up to 300mg it worked very well for 4 months. Then completely stopped working. Leavitt had an increased dose of 450mg. Have an appointment with my new neurologist in about four weeks going to either get off of it completely or add something to it to see if it helps.
