Thank you for all this info. I just started on Gabapentin a month or so ago. I had taken it before but stopped because of how it made me feel. I just felt so loopy all the time. I have arthritis and neuropathy and my doctor again wanted me on Gaba. This time I am having severe leg and foot pain like many of you. I suspected the Gaba was causing the pain that I was having during the night and decided today to stop taking it. I am only on 300 mg and tonight will be the first time without it for a month. I will have to let you know if my pain stops in a few days. Merry Christmas everyone!

I have taken this with affects that we're both good and bad. I liked that it relaxed my bladder and nerves in that area but it affected my legs to where I was having more problems walking . Like off balance and not knowing when one leg would just buckle. I take it every other day but not daily , I have found it works for me that way. Some days I forget and not take it for more than 3-4 days but it does help me. Besides the weakness of my lower extremities.
You may want to try this , sometimes we absolutely know our bodies better than anyone.
Hope this helps.
Sherry.
