To be honest I am going through this same issue. How long have you stopped the statins and do you still have symptoms. I'd be interested to see if just the CoQ10 alone reduces it. My cholesterol was like 270 or so and I have issues taking statins. Before my knee replacement I used Praluent (injection) and didn't seem to have any issues. I feel like now that I am back on it I have more muscle pain than without. I'm stopping it for a month again to see what happens. If I can't take oral statins or the injection now maybe so I'm not sure. I already take CoQ10 every day. If you eat right and still have high cholesterol not sure what they can even do. It's frustrating. Not sure if my pain is due to the knee replacement (it's been over 2 years), if it is the Praluent or if it just exacerbates the muscles issues that are already there.

I stopped the Crestor and fluconazole just 2 1/2 weeks ago. Started 200mg Coq10 at that time. Muscle weakness is gone, pain better during the day, but still intense upon awakening. Very slow going.

We stopped it a week ago when we saw the lab results.
His cardiologist mentioned anyway to stop the statin and put him on Repatha again.
We changed the prescription plan for 2025 and Repatha is on it now.
