I agree with others, sounds like thrush, which can be a response to antibiotics and also steroids. I would be very intentional about treating thrush. My mother got it in response to IV antibiotics and it became quite severe and problematic.

Home remedies do not usually do the trick.
As a hygienist I often gave patients nystatin for thrush.
Swish it and then swallow it.
There are now new meds that your dentist can prescribe.
The problem at the corner of your mouth is called angular cheilitis.
This is also caused by candida.
I saw it more commonly in older men that had characteristic deep jowl lines.
Ointment is used in this area.
These areas were often aggravated by shaving and the common drooling when sleeping.
Diet is important. I stressed fresh produce and fewer carbs.
