Does anyone else have experience with the Clear Lungs supplement by Ridgecrest? In the patient education program of last week’s BE/NTM conference at NYU Langone, the doctors uniformly stated there was no data supporting any supplements for BE/NTM (in response to a patient audience member’s question). That is certainly not definitive, but I do put a lot of weight in the panel’s opinion. Interested in patients opinions/experiences re supplements for BE/MAC.

I agree with you. And the last thing I want is anything that dries up or reduces the natural mucus being created in my lungs due to the bronchiectasis. Hope springs eternal and a tablet to make it all better sounds so simple and elegant.

How was the NYU conference? Anything new and interesting being presented? Maybe it will be on YouTube soon.

I would try it if I am sure about the validity of manufacturer. Do you put on a lot of weight by taking this Clear Lungs supplement by Ridgecrest?

I have been taking the Clear Lungs supplement for three months. If I stop taking it, which I did when trying to find the cause of my diarrhea, my chest tightened, and my mucus stopped moving.

My primary care doctor recommended it to me. His family found it helped them with colds and allergies. I mentioned it to my pulmonologist, and he just gave it a nod off like it won't help but won't hurt.

I will be seeing an infectious disease and a specialist in the next few weeks and will run them by them as well.
