Tramedol is black box contra indicated for us seniors. Known to cause confusion and can actually cause seizures!
I take 50 at a time, up to three times a day with CRPS. But as a retired nurse, I rarely take 3 and know its not incredibly safe taking 2/day with some of my other meds but my pcp is aware and everything is liw dose. J turn 70 in 5 weeks. And this kind of isn't dven totally about age as to mixing safety but side effects are worse after a certain age.

It used to be our pharmacists would question dr drug orders. Not anymore. Maybe call the poison control center and ask. They will know if there is danger mixing them I think. They will refer you to your dr but you aren't asking for personal medical advise, just the facts.

Take goif care. You are right to ask as a senior. We don't want or need a dr not paying attention to destroy our independence at this point. Confused seniors don't get treated well even if its potentially short term and a drug reaction.

Can yoh see a gerontologist. They specialize in the special care of seniors. If it's two different doctors who ordered these meds, this is why we need to not have different doctors ordering medication without checking with each other. B

Strongly recommend you discuss this you the pharmacist and/or the prescribing doctor.
