Has anyone using ostomy pouches experienced rashes and itching?

Has anyone using ostomy pouches experienced rashes and itching? If so, any suggestions? Allergy pill seems to help except for the redness.

I have both redness and itching, and am now using "Stomahesive Protective Powder," which is applied to areas of the pouch contacting the red areas. It is then lightly patted with "Adhesive Remover Wipe, No Sting." This application has only been applied for the last few days, and it remains to be seen if it is effective.
