Given the chest pressure you mentioned - this is the right thing. Caths are performed over a million times a year in US. Very low rates of complications - they are the gold standard, and save lives!

Results showed no more than 20% blockage so no stent was placed. Focus now is on proper meds to keep cholesterol in check.
