I’m being offered the pain stimulator for my severe and disabling neck pain. (I have had a fusion at C3-C4). I have reservations because of my research. (I’ve only been researching reputable sources). Have you had any negative results from the stimulator? They tried ablation on the nerves and I had high hopes. It didn’t work. I need to discuss my lumbar pain with this doctor before going ahead with the stimulator for my neck. I’m wondering if both can be addressed at the same time. What is your experience with the stimulator?

I have one from Boston scientifics. It has helped somewhat. Does not relieve all my ain but seems to reduce it. They have you do a trial first before installing the permanent one. I have had no issues with it. You have to try adjusting the settings a few times before you get relief. I also had multiple injections, nerve ablation with no relief. Also had two failed back surgeries that caused neuropathy and one where the surgeon put the hardware in wrong and I have pinched nerves. Told by three doctors to live with it.
