Hi @naturegirl5, yes I had radical hysterectomy all markers are clear my oncologist surgeon is recommending 4 VB for prevention but for some reason my brain is fighting the treatment. Part of me is wondering if the cancer comes back would radiation be an option? I guess it would depend on the type of cancer, I over think things at times & cancer is very complicated. The other concern is the dilator & you and others reassured me on the use which isn’t that bad. Side effects? Everything scares me & I keep trying for a way out which I believe just do it and pray for the best.
Hope you are doing well!
Thank You for all your help and any additional thoughts

@paz1956 After replying to your question about CT scans I looked back to see what you had posted earlier. I see that your oncologist recommended vaginal brachytherapy for prevention. And your most recent post indicates that you did the vaginal brachytherapy.

Like you I have modified my diet so that I have eliminated most ultraprocessed foods. I haven’t completely eliminated sugar as I find that is more difficult for me to do so I have worked to greatly reduce my intake of sugar. I had a mostly sedentary job before retirement although I did make a point to exercise most days. I continue to do that as I find if I sit too long these days I am stiff and uncomfortable from osteoarthritis. One of my friends is 4 years older than me and she is my role model for nutrition and exercise. I refer to her as “an energizer bunny”.
