I am currently reading Dr. Stuart McGill's "Back Mechanic". I am convinced Dr. McGill is the only one I've come across who completely understands the spine. McGill expands on Robin McKensie's method for spine issues. In fact, my physiatrist (a rehab MD) highly recommends his back patients to read Robin McKensie's "The McKensie Method - Treat Your Own Back" (also another good read but McGill's goes much more into detail.).
Yes, I have read his book and do his “big three” exercises every day. I bought his book earlier this year when I was convinced I’d injured my back. Turned out to be a compression fracture at T8.
His book was very helpful to me in explaining how to move correctly to prevent exacerbating my back pain.
