Just to clarify- squamous cells are just the type of cell, you want to find peeps with the location of the cancer- throat etc. I have rectal squamous cell cancer, which is treated differently than other rectal cancers (it is actually treated like anal cancer ). Your PET scan will show if your cancer has spread to other parts of your body. God bless and stay strong!
