Thank you for your detailed response. I've printed it to discuss with Bill. His weight at Aug 7 was 190 lbs. Today it is under 150. He has scheduled a call to The Ostomy clinic for an appointment to discuss the many issues. The ostomy nurse already found the best appliance which is so easy to install. A Coloplast precut (my cuts were not perfect) 1 piece appliance. Thanks again and good luck with your recovery.

I pray for good care for Bill. That’s a huge weight loss so that definitely needs to be addressed. I did my own research to find an ostomy dietician and I found an excellent one that I see virtually 1 or 2 per month. She’s been my lifesaver. She also has an ileostomy and all the degrees behind her name to know what she’s doing and I love her. If you want her contact information just let me know. I highly recommend her once Bill gets settled with an ostomy nurse. Just happy you have found good supplies that are working for him! That’s a huge success this early in his journey. As I told you previously, it took me 8-9 months to finally get the right system that works for me! Bill’s ahead of that curve!! Please update us after your contact with the ostomy clinic! 🙏
