I have had two REMS tests. Both times the spine result seemed to be harder to get. Next time I will fast overnight and not have anything to eat before the test and see if that makes a difference.

My first REMS test couldn't get an L4 score due to gas. I fasted all night and didn't go in until 11:45 AM trying not to have gas for the second REMS. That time, the tech couldn't see L3, but didn't know why. Fortunately, you can get a score with only 4 bones. My scores were close enough in each test, so the could be compared. I showed progress after 6 months. My spine t-score went from -3.1 to -2.8. My fragility score improved from 50 to 40.2. I like being able to measure improvements when I want, but it is expensive.
