Dr Mark Scholz/PCRI
Anyone here is a patient of Dr Mark Scholz of Prostate Cancer Research Institute. I need to get a second opinion from an Oncologist about how long I should be on Orgovyx based on the risk/benefits. I would on Orgovyx for 9 months end of December.

Your PSA is undetectable and dropping. I don’t see any reason to change anything. Radiation treatment doesn’t always bring the PSA down to .01 or less immediately, for some it can take up to two or three years to get to the lowest point
are you suggesting I should stay on Orgovyx for now?
I am not a doctor so I cannot advise you on what to do with your prescriptions. In the CSC online prostate cancer chat three weeks ago, the doctor (GU oncologist) told somebody that after Six months of undetectable they could Stop Orgovyx even though they had a Gleason above 7. I’ve heard that The NCCN recommends longer. So you need to ask your doctor what he thinks You could always get a second opinion from Dr. Sholtz.
Thank You.
Yes, I will not make any changes with regards to ADT duration without consulting my care team(Medical oncologist, Radiation Oncologist, Urologist, Primar care physician)
