Pneumonia Vaccine (Prevnar) OK with PMR?

I had both pneumonia vaccines prior to Shringlrix and my bout with PMR. Since PMR I have had Pfizer Covid, annual flu, and tetanus (every 10 years) and RSV. I am a great believer in vaccines so I continue to take vaccinations. I do not want to die from an avoidable problem, thus vaccinations are the key. I have other chronic problems that sometimes flare post vaccination, but none of these vaccines have caused a PMR flare.
I do not believe that PMR was caused by the Shringrix component, but by the fundamental nature of vaccines and the state of my immune system at the time of the vaccinations. Every vaccine is designed to supercharge your immune system. I believe that something goes tilt based on your individual immune system situation and that is what causes the adverse reaction. There are reports of PMR as a result of all types of vaccines, not just Shringrix.

I was happy to see your response in regards to vaccines! I have too many health issues and immune suppression to just disregard vaccines!
I just won’t take more than one or two at a time!
On my last pcp visit a week ago I had my flu vaccine with no problems other than a sore arm. I’m also behind in my vaccines, I need pneumonia, RSV, and my 10 year tetanus. (I’ve decided not to take the Covid vaccine). I was glad to see that you had no issues with the RSV vaccine which is a new one for me, never had it. So I will be working on getting my vaccinations up to date—next up: pneumonia vaccine (needed for my asthma and lung issues)!!
Wishing you and everyone a happy and healthy holiday season. ❤️⛄️
