What sweeteners DOES NOT effect sugar diabetes.
I have lost close to 25 lbs, walk 6 to 9 miles a week. Taking Farxiga 10mg daily. My Blood Sugar 140 to 165 ? My sugar intake is dropped quite a bit, probably 2/3. Why is my blood sugar so high ? Im 75 yrs old, haven't smoked or drank for close to 20yrs. Went from 201 to 178 this year. HELP😊

This may be heresy, it's just my opinion, and I'm certainly no doctor, but I wouldn't worry too much about hour-by-hour numbers. I personally believe that constant worry is more dangerous than the numbers.
I also say, don't confuse data with information. You have lots of data, but you're lacking information.
If those results are post-prandial, they sound pretty good to me. Even if they're pre-prandial, they're not catastrophic. (My personal experience is that just a few more minutes of exercise every day will bring those down.)
You A1c is a better indicator of your long-term blood sugar, and if yours is under 7, it's considered under control.
It sounds like you're doing really well. Lots of people would love to lose weight and cut their sugar intake. How do you *feel*? If you're feeling good and you know you're doing the right stuff, please don't let a glucometer spoil your peace of mind.
I’m type 1, not 2, but I look at any carbs as contributing to a rise in blood sugar. Of course, I take insulin to cover mine. Have you noticed if you have rises in blood sugar when you get up in the morning snd don’t have the sweetener? That happens with me, I also take insulin to cover foods that don’t have carbs, like sweeteners and fats. Do you wear a continuance glucose monitor? I think discussing it with your doctor might be a good idea. If your A1c is good, that’s a plus.
Carbs (breads, pasta, ice cream, potatoes) turn into glucose (sugar) as they are digested thus raising your numbers. You might want to talk to your doc about meeting with a nutritionist to get the latest on diabetes control for you.
Make an appointment with a endocrinologist and you’ll find the answer. You may need a dose adjustment. However, there are other causes that need to be investigated.
I will start with: What is a healthy weight?
Simple question but if you go by the BMI calculations, you get a very large Range: 18.5 to 24.9.
Yet it can alert you if you find yours is 25 or more.
At 81, I don't really know -- nor care -- what my number is.
What I DO care is 'Do I feel strong, agile, flexible Enough. I 'tested it' two days ago as I slipped walking on sidewalk in below freeing point. Fell on my bum backwards but was able to quickly get up feeling no pain; maybe thick winter coat helped too!
I also did walk up tonight all 13 floors after getting home in heavy clothes (~15 lbs) I was panting for more than half of the flights and feeling burn in my legs. My pulse rate for ten secs showed 144 beats a min. Looks I am OK. Never any meds, suppls, tests, and haven't seen my GP for over ten years. I guess eating right (any credible source such as a university or govt website will do. For physical activity, I'll do AS Much AS one can to help achieve an Optimal Fit body. It helps me with sound refreshing sleep too.
EXCESS weight is the first warning nature wants us to look after ourselves by correcting our ways in food, exertion, stress control. I find having a Reason FOR being in good health -- Beyond just wanting health or freedom from disease, is a big incentive every day to stay in close-to optimal shape.
