Two days after my first Reclast Infusion I developed this pain in both shoulders, Right forearm and left foot. The pain relieves some as the day goes by. After being in bed for about a hour I’m awakened by this intense pain and unable to move my right arm without assistance. The more I move it throughout the day the better it feels. Some nights I’m wakened by this pain 5/6 times. I also feel a bit nauseated; that too seems to improve as the day goes on; only to return the next morning. I’ve started physical therapy and one day it seems a little better and the next day not so good. My endocrinologist says the Reclast infusion did not cause this and suggested I consult my rheumatologist. It is odd, look up the potential side effect from Reclast ! My endocrinologist wants to do another infusion in about 4 months with a different medication; something called Denosumab. I looked up the side effects and pretty much the same as Reclast. Not quite sure as to what I am going to do; frustrating!
