Itchy skin after completing radiation therapy?

My last treatment was 12/05/24
And I’m using Vaseline with coco butter and it helps me some.
Someone told me to try shea butter,
My Doctor told me I could use cortisone cream OTC so I’m going to try that. But I just done my last treatment yesterday, god I hope the itching don’t last 4 months 🙏

My Drs gave me Vanicream and it works great. I was using everyday. I was done with radiation July 5th and was told I might be itchy for a while. As of Dec 7(today). I'm good, but I still put it on after a shower.
