I'm just 6 months out and have the same IT band pain on my outer knee (left). I started strengthening a month ago and found sitting leg presses relieved the pain. It works every time for me. Maybe you can try it. Let me know how you make out. Best of luck!

I’m 30 months out on my right knee replacement. I recovered easily, ROM no problem, scar tissue started, and is now so bad, I told my doctor that I feel like I have an anaconda wrapped around my knee. Also have pain on outside of knee, right. Andrews Dr. told me there is nothing they can do, I’ll just have to live with it. Anyone have anything similar?

I had mine done in 2004 and 2005. Worked the physio very very hard. Painful? You betcha. Physiotherapy said they had never seen anyone get full mobility back as rapidly as I did. TRUTH
Sadly they are so old they could fail any day and I am to old to live long enough to have replacements
Fingers cross that I croak before they no long lock when walking.
All the best. The newer ones I have read are good for 20 yrs where as the surgeon told me they last 10 to 15. Long ago so something must have been imporved.
