Update, just found out that a LC forum I belong to had interview with Dr Amir Haddeny the Israeli scientiwho did the hyperbaric oxygen trials…they were 40 2 hour sessions over 8 weeks for pre covid patients, but thought LC might need 60 sessions! But you might like to listen or read transcript of him describing the science…go to Long Covid Podcast hosted by Jackie Baxter in Uk, episode 153, for Nov.’24.

My son did around 30 sessions. He felt improved afterwards, but it was not durable and did nothing for his PEM. They progressively went deeper over time. I am not sure he could answer as to whether it helped his baseline. The biggest improvements he has seen for that have been with antihistamines, Eloquis, and drastically changing his diet to low histamine and minimally processed foods. Maybe Metformin a bit? He has also tried a lot of supplements and maybe the CoQ10 helps the most. But I have heard it works for some.
