I had my Reclast infusion 3 weeks ago and I'm still feeling the pain of side effects. I'm still on Claritin and taking ibuprofen and Tylenol arthritis. If I don't I ache so bad. Saw my NP yesterday and they felt so bad that no one told me about the Claritin. I informed them I will not be doing another Reclast infusion. So when my year comes due I'll be on fosamax. It to has side effects but sounds like they only last till your body adjusts to the meds. I will be on Claritin for another month. I hope that does the trick. Living in joint pain is the worst.

@linda1974 I am curious about the use of Claritin in your situation. Does your doctor tell you that you are having an allergic reaction? I have Claritin on hand for allergies. Looking it up, I see that Claritin is sometimes used for chemo-induced bone marrow inflammation and bone pain. Is that the rationale for your use?

Sorry to hear that. I had pain initially but then subsided.
