I went from from Osteoporosis to Osteopenia in my spine (Dexa of -2.6 to -1.9) in 15 months. My right hip also went from -1.6 to normal at -.5 too (I have a left hip replacement so no score there). I made lots of lifestyle changes like weightlifting 3 times/week, yoga and Power Plate vibration machine 4-5 times/week; worked on nutrition and cut out gluten and dairy, added calcium foods like arugula, bok choy, collard greens and Gerolsteiner Mineral Water; follow Debi Robinson (did some testing, online course and got custom vitamins) and Margie Bissinger (Happy Bones online membership); working on stress and sleep. I am hopeful I can maintain this lifestyle and the results. I haven’t taken any medications yet, but I am trying to stay open to them should I need them in the future. I also did lots of testing to rule out secondary conditions.

Nancy, congratulations… sounds like you really altered your life in such a positive way. I’m looking into all the things you do… was wondering about exercise- do you go to a gym, or do the online programs? I work full time and have a hard time discipline myself to make the time to exercise!! Thank you for sharing your progress… very inspirational!!
