I live adjacent to a horse pasture.

The other day, my neighbor's (no pun intended) new horse came up to the fence.

Wanting to be friendly, I tried feeding her an apple. But when I put the apple in her mouth, she dropped it.

I tried again...and again. Same result.

Baffled, I asked my neighbor if I was doing something wrong.

He said, "Not your fault. It's her breed. She's an apple-loose-a."
