@maliko
With what you wrote above it appears you have "Jarrow's sustain 600mg NAC"
I have and have taken the Jarrow NAC Vegetarian 500mg. For me, I did not have any of the effects you mentioned after taking it. Jarrow does not say third party tested on the bottle but it is my understanding that they are quality products..from Jarrow.
If you do have sustained release that might be something to consider as the problem???? vs non sustained release. Sorry you had that reaction.
I am not sure we can expect immediate change in our mucus, it might take a while to make a change with continued use of the NAC. For myself, I don't take it everyday I try to rely on fluid intake, warm water and soups to help thin the mucus and use the NAC as a booster. That's me and my way of thinking.
Please don't get discouraged..... it is going to be a trial and error as so many things in life are.
We have to take into account the big picture also, what we eat, when we eat, are we eating healthy, our sleeping habits, and as well our worrying over things.....which can affect our system because worrying possibly causes emtional stress which can affect everything.
Looking forward to hearing about your bronchoscope results. Thinking of You.
Barbara

Hello Barabara, thank you for your thoughtful response. Maybe I ought to try non sustain release or like other brand of nac. I'm still waiting on a date for my bronchoscopy. Will certainly update you. Thank you Barbara!
