I might try that brand of tart cherry capsules. I take cherry caps as well because my uric acid levels are elevated. Gout. My father had gout as well. Unfortunately, he died at a younger age, so I don’t know how his life would have continued on. I knew he had arthritis otherwise as well. I used to think that maybe it was because he was in the meat coolers as a butcher, full-time for part of his life but part-time the rest of the life he had until he died at 42. So if the cherry capsules don’t bring it down much more, I might have to be treated for it. I’m happy that the cherry capsules have at least brought it down.
I wish you well and if I have to get treated for it, I will make sure I circle back and let everybody know

that would be great to hear back from you! My uric acid is above normal but not out of range with the tart cherry capsules! It did bring it down along with cutting out the purines. I wonder if I would get to "normal" with the allopurinol or other med. So I inquired of my doctor just this morning. I ALSO found out there is a connection to Interstitial Cystitis (IC) which I've had for about a year and getting treated for. I'm really curious about THAT link. You bet I will report back if I find out anything! It IS hereditary. Your pop probably didn't know or think about it. Being a butcher probably didn't help. Good luck dishpain! Lori
