Hey bud, I posted my thoughts on this thread before but something I’d like to add. I met with my RO the other day and he told me that all the newer data - not sure which trial - supports a shorter radiation period - 5 weeks : 25 vs 39 or 45 (7weeks or more).
They administer a higher dose per fraction so you get the same overall amount. I am entering my 5th week Monday and so far I have had NO side effects. Of course I will have them in time, but this trial showed that side effects were the SAME for both 25 and 39 week cohorts after 6 months.
My RO is young -35 yrs old - but brilliant and published and a hell of a nice guy to boot - no superior attitude! I assume your RO is older so he’s doing what works for HIM. See if you can talk about the newer regimen so that it works for YOU.
Not sure about your ADT regimen but it does seem quite long as well.
