@bsi15

could the reason why this stem cell therapy is rarely mentioned by European,American experts
just be , because it's from China ?

I found an article from 2018 :
https://bronchiectasisnewstoday.com/2018/02/15/stem-cell-transplants-rejuvenate-bronchiectasis-lungs/
https://bronchiectasisnewstoday.com/ seems to have stopped updating in 2021

Boston University has an article from 2023:
https://www.bu.edu/articles/2023/stem-cell-therapy-lung-health-and-disease/
(just because a Boston researcher is involved ?! no mentioning of the
Shanghai studies)
It's mentioned in the 15 reader comments, though ... blaming the slow US-medical system

there were some threads and posts here in 2018 and two posts in an unrelated thread on Nov.1 2024

ahh, looking at it in detail, this looks not convincing to me.
They measured lots of parameters 4,12,24 weeks and then
just picked the best ones for the summary, while omitting
the others.
When I just look at the values after 24 weeks in tables S6,S7 pages 26,28
then I do not see the claimed improvement in DLCO,SGRQ,BSI,FACED
