PD-1 blockade plus cisplatin-based chemotherapy

I've no experience with it but it does sound interesting as a treatment...but looked this up and replied to track this thread..
PD-1 essentially turning the "off switch" into an "on switch" for your immune response against cancer. So your own immune system works against the cancer and...

The Cisplatin based chemo is reported particularly good at causing DNA damage in cancer cells thereby making them unable to divide (multiply) and makes the same cells more susceptible to your immune system attack.

From what I gather, at this point, in trials it's shown some promise in more advanced or more aggressive forms of prostate cancer like small cell or neuroendocrine variants, where the response to traditional treatments might be poor, but, the trials involving the more common prostate cancers weren't very promising.
