How many cultures have grown M Abscessus? Some years ago I had one culture comeback positive for it, but the next two came back clear.
Is the consultant a specialist in Mycobateria infections?

Hi Sue. Apparently the abscessus has been consistently showing up in my samples and also in broncoscopy so my consultant feels it needs treated. I’m from N Ireland and I was referred to my consultant as she is the NTM authority here. Thanks for your reply.
