My bone scan results after 18 months tymlos
I got my results
I put prior results in post for comparison
Same machine used for 3 tests
1). Lumbar spine
10/24. -2.1
10/22 -3.6
12/19. - 3.5
2). Left hip
10/24. - 3.9
10/22. - 4.2
12/19. -3.5
3). Left femoral neck
10-24. -4.0
10-22. - 4,7
12/19. -3.8
After talking with my drs - I will continue on tymlos the rest of the 2 year period
I’m undecided on how to lock in gains after 2 years - I’ll let you know what drs think
If anyone has any questions - I’m happy to try to answer

So if I understand correctly. Your spine increased greatly but your hips got worse? Is this common on Tymlos? As I’m trying to decide between Evenity and Tymlos…..

1 ReactionWhen I am discussing which drug to use with my drs to lock in my gains, I will explore which drug will protect the hips.
What side effects do you have with tymlos ?
I inject at night lying down getting ready for bed. This decreased the initial side effect of increased heart rate and a bit of dizziness. I also had decrease in appetite. I lost about 10 pounds the first 3 months. Food just did not interest me - it was very strange. I gained back 5 pounds by eating 200-300 extra calories after the time when I would normally stop eating . I get my blood tested for calcium and vitamin D every three months. I had to increase my vitamin D supplement and decrease my calcium supplement. Hope this helps
