Thank you for your reply. I'll buy the cortisone cream tomorrow. Re removing the pouch - I use an adhesive remover wipe. I lift up top tab and put the wipe under it to loosen the pouch from the skin- very carefully! Then continue all around until the pouch is free to discard. This procedure was from the Ostomy clinic - BUT I still get OUCH. The glue is so strong (thankfully) I don't see any other way to remove it.
