Autonomic Disorder Testing and Treatment at Mayo

Hello,

I have been experiencing a lot of health issues and I have had two neurologists tell me that it sounds like I have an autonomic dysfunction disorder.

Has anyone gone to mayo for Autonomic Dysfunction? What was your experience like?

Had not been aware of the disorder, but just did some reading on it. Did your physicians explain the disorder to you and offer a referral to Mayo or another institution that has experience in the management of these types of disorders. I would imagine the management would depend on the symptoms that you have and what systemic is effected. Please keep us posted.

My neurologist mentioned that many of the issues I’m experiencing could be explained by dysautonomia. I was informed that my medical organization only conducts tilt table tests and does not have specialists to diagnose or treat autonomic dysfunction disorders. Because of this, they recommended that I go to a Mayo Clinic.

Thats why I wondering if anyone here has gone to Mayo specifically for autonomic dysfunction, and what their experience was like.
