Thanks for telling me about the toes. I tried moving a bit with PT after sitting for 2 years due to knees, then discovered toes have joined the party. Had to quit. Do you wear shoes in the house, and if so, what kind? I have my old running shoes from back in the day-I figure running started this trouble, plus 3-state hiking Appalachian Trail. But my mom was terribly arthritic without any misery exercising:). Genetically doomed? Tell
Me what you do for feet? Are podiatrists any help in addition to ortho?

Hello. I've had 3 surgeries on my right foot (podiatrist and foot specialist/ortho surgeon) because of severe pain in toes if wearing shoes unless they were too big and not snug at all. They ended up telling me they have no idea what is causing the pain. Long story short, it appears the toe pain is directly related to the sciatica from arthritis in my back. It's eased up a bit. I don't wear shoes in the house, just "Women Winter Socks Knit Anti-Slip Sweat Warm Fuzzy Home Slipper Socks (Grey)" from Amazon. The injection in my spine has definitely taken the edge off the sciatica pain. Though I went to a movie yesterday and after sitting for 2 hours it took a minute to walk without holding onto something. I won't be doing anything that jars my back, like jumping rope, running, bending without bending knees, etc.. I'm interested in the ablation and can't wait to hear if it helps you.
