Brain aneurysm and spinal hemangioma's
Has anyone heard or know if congenital aneurysms and hemangioma's are linked?
My mother passed away 25 years ago at 56 (same age as me now) of a congenital brain stem aneurysm and I was just diagnosed with multiple hemangiomas throughout my spine that was not there last year.
Just wondering if I should be concerned.

@cheryl46 Hemangiomas are usually incidental findings in spine imaging, and most are inconsequential. If they cause weakening of the vertebrae, a spine specialist may be concerned. I have several, and they are of no concern. Your situation, of course, is a question for a specialist. I have a bit of uncertainty too with an AVM in my brain that was also an incidental finding. The best I can do is make sure that my blood pressure is well controlled. There are no symptoms, and I wouldn't otherwise know about it.
