Hang in there, it is a lot of pain, don’t spare with pain killers the first weeks so you can exercise hard. And a lot of ice!!!!
I remember crying with special one exercise, but my PT always told me it’s worth it, so true…
It will get better after a few weeks.
Everybody is different, it took me a whole year to be fine.
I had 2 reverse shoulder replacements but this knee …wow.
Just take extremely care, that you don’t fall, that’s what I did 2 times afterwards, which made it not better.
After all yes it was worth it because before I couldn’t walk anymore.

The TKR is definitely worth the short period of time you will have pain. Yes, definitely take your pills for pain as it's only for a short time. I have had two knee replacements, one in 2014 and one in 2016. It has opened up my life. Without it I'd be an invalid and have a very narrow life. I now walk and travel with no pain and no restrictions. Yes the initial period after the surgery is tough, but it will get better.
