Its been an evolution. With the metabolic syndrom diet I'm limiting carbohydrates, so beans for protien is out. My Holistic Dr "prescribed" 4 oz of aminal protien twice per day. Because I was a gynecological cancer I'm limiting that to poultry, fish and eggs. The marjority of my meals are colorful vegetables, leafy greens and low glycemic friuts. I stay pretty close to this diet, but I'm not ridiculous about it.

Oh, I see. I wasn’t aware you included any meat. Two of my best friends are vegan, though they say they make exceptions. I have to bolus for carbs, but if I skip them, I have issues. So, right now low carb, but not by choice. The Holistic Dr. sounds helpful.

I hope I can continue building muscle. My right shoulder was sore so I eased off a little on the upper body work this week.

I try to focus on veggies and berries too. I actually love the food. Portion control is now my challenge.
