I respectfully disagree with the negative comments on weighted vests. It has saved my osteoporosis. I go 2 miles a day with a 20 pound vest and my bone density has vastly improved. I have no idea why anyone would ban it unless there were balance or other issues. It has vastly improved my balance and my posture. That and weight training have been a miracle.

After six months using the best, I now Row three times a week, weight train three times a week, and hike with him without Best 2 to 4 miles a week. Chemo induced osteoporosis was getting really really bad. But I’m getting really really strong!

@thaispalmer That's great! Not sure the reason for Dr. Lani not recommending it....

Interesting information about the vest, i read somewhere ( who know where ) but a weight belt is safer than the vest for those of us with spine problems.

It’s so great your bone density has improved with all you are doing!!! I do weight twice a week, a third day would be so beneficial but that is not happening 😊
