I am trying to find a physician who will consider HRT. I asked my Endocrinologist at Duke who says I’m too late to start HRT. I’m not quite 10 years out from menopause. I have an appointment next month with a gynecologist, but no idea what she’ll say.

Check out functional medicine providers.

I started HRT, Biote pellet, 10 years after menopause. I had one doctor who told me I should not use any form of it, including Premarin cream. After reading new information about the flawed study I decided to go ahead with it, found a functional doctor. Wish I had started earlier, fingers crossed I made the right choice.

Do all you can to arm yourself with information. I listed some things in my reply & urge you (all) to get the book -start with that. The doctors all have Instagram or Facebook pages and websites (links to free info) & also YouTube videos. You have a month to prepare! Bring it with you to the appt. & consider bringing a support person. It is not too late. Also if you have a used book store, they probably have copies of books for cheap.
