Your story, in six words
Are you familiar with the Six Word Story?
“A six-word story is an entire story told in six words. It is a short narrative that can have all of the emotional themes of longer stories—from funny to dramatic, sad to scary. It can be poetic or straightforward.”
Legend has it that Ernest Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in only six words. Others gave their own spin into the six-word novel - a personal twist to describe a life in exactly six words, sometimes called these Six-Word Memoirs.

I agree. We need that self encouragement and determination sometimes. But we will be okay if the number of times we get up is greater than the number of times we get knocked down. (And, that IS a catchy tune.)
@itchyd, I know you weren't able to figure it out, but I used 40 words on this post. And, before you get started...that's 40 words BEFORE my message to you. 😊

2 ReactionsI'm suggesting this thread change its name to "Your story in six words but, if you absolutely must use more than six words, then please attempt to be as brief as possible because, after all, it's really supposed to be limited to no more than six words, although a lot of people ignore the six word limit and we would like to accommodate everybody because that's just how we are here at Mayo".
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
