This morning I heard from the hysteroscopy scheduling Nurse. They have cancelled all elective procedures which require an irrigation solution due to the Baxter Plant being off-line. I am on the list, which is probably long. My guess is sometime next year I will get an appointment. So frustrating!!

Just got a phone call from the scheduling Nurse who had previously sent an email telling me there would be a delay in scheduling me due to the shortage of irrigation fluid . To my surprise she called me this afternoon and said that a supply had arrived and I was the first person on her list!! So I got scheduled for late January, which is sooner than I expected, and I am so relieved:)
It will be an in-office hysteroscopy so I hope my pelvic bones and uterus relax enough for good results. The Nurse explained the cervical softening suppository and the pain killer that would be used. Once I had the appointment it was like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. Guess you do not know how much something is weighing on you until it is gone.
