It's difficult. I already had PTSD and my depression has worsened with long covid as I grieve the person I was before I got sick in March of 2020. I go to therapy. I try to practice gratitude, but having almost died when I got the original variant, along with having serious ongoing health issues post covid, it can be very difficult to stay positive.

I know exactly how you feel. And I am so sorry you are going through this as well. I say “ok if this is it and no going back to who I used to be, how do I move forward?” Do we think how fortunate we were to have had a functioning, active, happy, healthy and hopeful life, because a lot of people have never? After over three years I still can't figure any of this out and how to shift my mindset. It is extremely hard to stay positive.
Thank you for sharing and I wish better health to you!
