Please get the book ESTROGEN MATTERS by Dr. Avrum Bluming (oncologist)! These comments from women are so sad, whose doctors & care team are denying them the gold standard of care by NOT following the SCIENCE! There are several studies. THEY are absolutely uninformed, going off of old, outdated & DEBUNKED info from a very flawed study by the WHI back in 2002. Please inform yourselves & do your research, start by getting that book! If you are doing well on HRT/MHT & have no other contraindications, YOU can decide (it's called Informed Consent & Shared Decision Making, also Benefit-to-Risk) to continue to take MHT as long as it is of benefit & for protection. Find another doctor. They took oaths to do no harm & this could even be considered medical malpractice - negligence.
