NBD Hope, happens all the time.

I don't know much about Lyrica. I have a friend at the gym, a woman who is 80, and she's had a lot of fusion work on her spine and is in a lot of pain. She just told me this week that her Dr had prescribed Lyrica and it seemed to work, but that's just one, small data point.

It has "gaba" in its pharmaceutical name. People have had trouble with gabapentin, so again, I'd ask your Dr about the drug and if it's appropriate for you.

Sorry about your son. Ice should work and possibly Voltaren gel. I use Voltaren gel on my shoulder and it provides some relief.
