Yes, we can take legal action but as @frouke has mentioned, there is a backlog of cases and landlord/tenant issues don’t take priority over criminal issues. Very often these cases are thrown out of court because of the backlog - and people know the cases only line lawyers’ pockets while placed in the lineup.

Not that cut and dried, unfortunately.
