Xanax or Valium to calm nerves before first Reclast infusion?

I respectfully disagree. My first time taking Xanax was a half tablet. It didn't work so I was told to take a full tablet. That made me too dizzy to stand, so I never took Xanax again.

I take 1/4 of any benzodiazepine and it knocks me out. My friend takes two. We are all different.

But the real issue here is fear of the Reclast. I hope that this thread has been reassuring and offered the same tips my doctor gave me: hydrate day before, day of, day after. Longer infusion. I have kidney disease so Reclast was a real concern but again, the infusion was relaxing for me!
