Hi
Well I got the approval from my oncologist so I don't know what the gp's problem is.
My oncologist gave me vagifem which I use twice a week. He's a young physician. I always had a female dr so this sucks. I have to fight for everything.

When my 95+ mom was having a lot of bladder infections and a lot of itching in the genital area, a new provider, a nurse practitioner at her nursing home, put her on an estrogen vaginal cream and ordered the caregivers order a product called UTI Stat, which she drank daily. She never had a problem with UTIs after that and she lived to almost 103! It was an amazing difference. Last time I looked for a friend, it is available from Amazon, without a prescription.
FYI: after my diagnosis of ADH last year, the breast cancer doctor at Mayo took me off my HRT and the vaginal estrogen tablet. Within about 2 months when I complained about vaginal dryness and related issues she prescribed an estrogen vaginal cream which I now use 2 X per week. The dryness and related issues are all resolved now.
